Viet Nam cashew import export data updated 2020 Aug
The Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) cited statistics from the General Department of Customs as saying that in August 8, Vietnam's cashew exports continue to record a new record high of 2023.60 thousand tons, worth USD 58.333 million, up 83.10% in volume and 8.9% in value compared to July 7, Compared to August 7, it increased by 2023.8% in volume and 2022.29% in value.

In the first 8 months of 2023, Vietnam's cashew exports reached nearly 395.6 thousand tons, worth $ 2.28 billion, up 15.5% in volume and 11.3% in value over the same period last year.

In August 8, the average export price of cashew nuts of Vietnam will reach 2023,5 USD / ton, down 510% compared to July 1 and down 7.2023% compared to August 5. Generally, in the first 7 months of 8, the average export price of cashew nuts of Vietnam will reach 2022,8 USD / ton, down 2023.5% over the same period in 760.
In August 8, cashew exports to many key markets and the potential to increase compared to the same period in 2023. Notably, cashew exports to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia grew by 2022 digits.

In the first 8 months of 2023, cashew exports to all key markets will increase. In particular, cashew exports to China, Germany, the UK, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia increased compared to the same period last year.
This year, the cashew industry aims to export more than 3.1 billion USD. In addition to favorable factors, this industry still faces many challenges. Notably, factories depend on 50-60% of imported materials. To improve this problem, the key step is to promote the renovation and improvement of the output and quality of cashew trees in Vietnam.
